Fundraising for Breast Cancer Now
Story
Every year since 2016, my family have held a Strawberry Tea party to raise money for the brilliant charity Breast Cancer Now (formerly Breast Cancer Care). Like many of you, this charity is close to our hearts as we have lost a dear family member to breast cancer. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, daughter... And boy did she love tea and cake as all of our family do!
What's the deal this year?
For £7.50, you will receive:
🍓 A freshly baked scone served with cream and jam
🍰 A mini loaf cake with a choice of Victoria sponge, lemon, chocolate or carrot cake
☕ Unlimited tea or coffee served in a vintage tea cup and saucer which you can keep!
We also have a raffle being held with some brilliant prizes from local artists and businesses - tickets are 5 for £5. **If you would like tickets, please let us know in the comments how many you would like.**
When and where?
The event will be held on Saturday 12th August in Carol's garden at 37 Merlin Drive, Ely between 11am - 1pm.
Please note due to the size of the garden, we can accommodate a maximum of 50 people.
